| Music Jam |

Music Jam is a joint project between
the North Area Teen Center and EMQ Children and
Family Services. Music Jam is held every Monday
evening from 7:00 - 9:00 pm at the teen center.
Youth work with music coaches to learn simple chords
and rhythms. Using those skills, they practice a
popular song (e.g.: rock & roll or hop hop tune)
on the instrument of their choice (lead guitar,
bass guitar, drums, piano or vocals). The evening
ends with a Karaoke session where youth showcase
the skills they have learned. |
| Tutoring |

The tutoring program matches youth
with a volunteer tutor for a private one-hour tutoring
session a week. In addition, peer tutors offer Algebra
tutoring on Tuesday and Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:30
pm in the teen center's computer lab. |

students that meets every Wednesday from 6:16 - 7:45
pm at the North Area Teen Center. Games, Fun, Food. |
